A very simple premise, but a very technically challenging set of requirements for this one. My role here was to assist the Finch production team in ensuring that their chosen locations could be realistically combined in post to deliver an impossible but believable backdrop for the characters’ banter.
I 3D modeled the house they chose, then deconstructed it to look unfinished, and used photogrammetry to bring the cliff face accurately into the scene and combine the two.
Michael and I explored lighting and camera options to ensure that the time of day was optimized for the story he wanted to tell.
