I grew up in a satellite town outside of Melbourne, Australia and this gave me a solid upbringing somewhere between rural and urban. I appreciated the hard work and ingenuity of an agricultural life but moved to the city as soon as I could.

After a very nerdy school life I graduated with an Industrial Design degree in 2000. Since then I have worked in all manner of creative fields in Melbourne, Sydney and more recently New York.

I spent the majority of my 20s taking on many seemingly impossible creative projects with my partner-in-all-things Dani Maugeri, varying wildly from designing medical components, to traditional shoemaking, some film making and later to VR, AR and 3D printing.

I have slowly developed a broad range of skills based on the combination of technical application, critical thinking and problem solving. I love being ‘on the tools’ and down in the details, but would always start with a high level relevant and well researched strategy deck.

I am just as comfortable storyboarding and directing a short film as I am creating the perfect pair of high heeled shoes, a future-state vision for a large project or detailing the information architecture of a smartphone app.

If you have a challenge to throw my way, by all means get in touch to see if I can help out.
